THE FIRST HISPANIC AMERICAN NETWORK OF WOMEN WHO MAKE THE NEWS

Promoting collaboration, innovation and digital immersion to face the challenges of future journalism. An initiative ignited by Accenture.

Women in the News Network

WINN is the first network of Hispanic American women journalists created to promote digital innovation in media, deploy female journalists leadership and raise their voices throughout a collaborative intelligence platform.

WINN seeks to empower women in integrating technology and creativity to boost a new journalism, more humane, data oriented, with high quality and transparency.

International leaders from journalism, communication and academic fields have participated collaboratively in WINN 2020/2021 initiatives through webinars, seminars and training sessions.

We believe in

The generation of equal opportunities for women in journalism.

Independent and transparent journalism with high quality standards and an ethical use of sources as an essential social service for democratic societies. We aim to be diverse, inclusive and bring a pluralistic view.

People, their talent and values.

Collaboration as a key factor to enhance new paradigms in journalism promoting better stories and high quality content.

Networking as a valuable space to exchange best practices and professional experiences, expanding the network with new enriching visions.

Technology as the main facilitator to recognize what the audience seeks, to produce new formats and innovate in storytelling.
